New York, NY / London, UK — June 11, 2025 — Linden Lane Films, a newly launched production company founded by award-winning actor/director Stephen Kunken, global dialogue facilitator Dr. David Baum, and entrepreneur and strategist Morgan Rothschild, announces its debut with a bold commitment to a new kind of storytelling—one that fuses performance, insight, and enterprise into a purpose-driven approach to filmmaking. The company reflects the unique synthesis of its founders: a storyteller, a systems thinker, and a connector—each bringing a distinct lens to building work that resonates deeply and endures.
“We believe the world moves at the speed of stories—those that unfold with patience, depth, and a sense of truth,” said Kunken. “At Linden Lane, we’re inspired by films that feel crafted from the inside out—shaped by character, driven by emotion, and built to linger. We aim to make work that invites audiences to settle in, reflect, and find something unexpectedly familiar in the lives of others.”
Linden Lane’s debut slate reflects this mission. The Wind Up, co-written by Peter Charles Melman and Kunken, tells the story of a fractured Long Island family grappling with their patriarch’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. It balances emotional subtlety and familial tension in a deeply human portrait of memory, legacy, and care. Also in development is The Red House, written by acclaimed playwright Richard Nelson and directed by Kunken, a quiet, literary exploration inspired by the private life of J.D. Salinger. First announced in Variety, the film exemplifies Linden Lane’s focus on thoughtful, enduring storytelling. Additional projects, including narrative and documentary work across the U.S. and U.K., are currently in development, with a full slate to be announced in Fall 2025.
Stephen Kunken is an award-winning actor and director with acclaimed performances across stage and screen, from Broadway and the Royal Shakespeare Company to the BBC, Showtime, Hulu, and Amazon Studios. Dr. David Baum is a global change facilitator and author whose clients have included Nobel laureates, major philanthropic organizations, and Fortune 100 companies. Known for designing transformative dialogue, Baum brings decades of experience in high-stakes cultural and organizational storytelling. Morgan Rothschild is an entrepreneur with a vast network across multiple sectors. His core competency lies in understanding people—and bringing them together to achieve common goals. He has been instrumental in structuring business ventures involving public figures and recently led the development of both a spirits brand and this dynamic film and television company.
